AMD Adrenalin 22.10.3 WHQL Graphics Driver

AMD released the new Adrenalin Edition Driver 22.10.3 WHQL to the public today. The new driver comes with some fixes and improved support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Radeon Boost using Variable Rate Shading in Dying Light 2.

Fixed

  • Elite Dangerous may crash at startup on Radeon RX 6000 GPUs.
  • A black screen may occur during a driver upgrade or when resetting settings on Microsoft Windows 11 version 22H2 on Radeon RX 6000 GPUs.
  • Lower performance than expected with Gotham Knights with AMD processors on some AMD graphics cards such as Radeon RX 6950 XT.

Known Issues

  • World of Warships predictions may be missing on Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs. (Scheduled for 11/22)
  • When Radeon Anti-Lag is enabled, a beep may be heard when the Shift + Back key is pressed. (Scheduled for 11/22/1)
  • For some AMD graphics cards, such as the Radeon 570, GPU usage may get stuck in Radeon performance metrics at 100% after quitting games.
  • Some AMD graphics cards, such as Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics, may stutter video playback using hardware acceleration with Firefox.
  • Some AMD graphics cards, such as the Radeon RX 6700 XT, may experience brief display errors when switching between video and game windows.
