Intel released a new Intel Arc Graphics Driver, still in beta. The new driver carries build number and comes with Intel Game On Driver support for Sniper Elite 5* on Intel Arc A350M and A370M Graphics.

For now, the driver comes with a long list of open issues that still need some work. If you don’t know what ARC stands for, it might be interesting to watch this movie.

Changelog for Intel Arc Graphics Driver Beta

  • With Sniper Elite 5, some hybrid graphics system configurations may cause the application to crash if the Windows Graphics Performance Setting option for the application is not set to High Performance.
  • Control and Forza Horizon 5 may experience texture corruption during gameplay.
  • In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the application may crash while playing.
  • Map textures may not load or only load as empty spaces when CrossFire is played.
  • Some objects and textures in Halo Infinite may appear black and cannot be loaded. Also, the lighting in the menus of the multiplayer game may appear blurry or overexposed.
  • In Guardians of the Galaxy, some interactive objects may have texture distortions.
  • Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition may have minor texture issues.

Known Issues for Intel Arc Control

  • When checking for driver updates or trying to install driver updates through Intel Arc Control, you may sometimes see the message “Failed to install the driver”.
  • Smooth Sync is enabled by default when Application Selection is selected in frame delivery settings on the Intel Arc Control game settings page.
  • The Performance Tuning page in Intel Arc Control may appear incorrectly visible or configurable on unsupported platforms. If this is the case, changing the settings on this page may trigger an error message and/or not work.
