Intel released a new Wi-Fi (WLAN) driver version 22.170.0 for Windows 11 and Windows 10. The download installs the Windows 10 and Windows 11 Wi-Fi package drivers 22.170.0 for the Wi-Fi 6E/Wi-Fi 6/9000/8000 series Intel Wireless Adapters.

- Windows 11 – Windows Wi-Fi properties indicate an incorrect receive/send rate (Mbps) when connected to the 2.4 GHz band with 20 MHz channel width and using the Intel Wireless 9000 series.
- Windows 10 – When you connect an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 to an iPhone 12 hotspot in 802.11ax mode, Windows Wi-Fi properties show an 802.11ac connection.
- Windows 11 and 10 – The Intel Wireless 9000 series Wi-Fi adapters do not support 802.11ac and 802.11ax modes when connected to channel 149, which is configured for 160 MHz bandwidth. The adapter connects in 802.11n mode.
