The latest version of Microsoft Edge Canary comes with a new experimental feature called Pause extensions. For now, it is not available to everyone yet.
However, If you are one of the lucky ones, you can use “pause all extensions” by opening up the extension’s menu in the main menu of your browser, (for now in Edge Canary only).
By clicking the three dots in the upper right corner, there you will see “Pause extensions on this site” or if you want to activate your extensions again, just choose “Resume extensions” in the same way.
This nice new feature is adding to your security, especially when you visit an info-sensitive website, and you like to make sure none of the third-party extensions can access your sensitive information.
It is expected that this new feature will make its way to the stable build.
