The Microsoft development team doesn’t sit still when it comes to the good old control panel as we know it from Windows 10.

In the latest Windows 11 Dev build, you can see that for example, the link for uninstalling apps, or let’s say programs, shifted to the new settings panel in Windows 11.

Looks perfect I must admit, but will take some getting used to. For now, you can still use the old link to uninstall apps in the old control panel, but it won’t last long before it will disappear.

Microsoft is working very hard to bring this to an end, integrating all the old control panel settings as we know them from Windows 10 to the new Windows 11 settings. Let’s see what the next build will bring.

Using Windows key + R will now take you directly to the new settings page.
