If you have some time to spare, and you are very curious about how Windows 10X works and feels, and you have a Surface Pro 7 available that you don’t really need anymore, you could flash this device with a .ffu file created by ADeltaX.
Hopefully, you really know what you’re doing because if you screw up there is no one else to blame but you. So if you can’t wait and are willing to take the risk, just give it a go. You can find instructions on how to go about it all here.
If you REALLY want to test Windows 10X on your Surface Pro 7 (any configuration) here is the ffu to flash into your device (e.g. from WinPE): https://t.co/Rl0oLDgVQE
So far everything should work just fine, including orientation.

SP7 first boot + intro oobe with audio.
Almost all drivers are up (orientation doesn't work, audio requires a registry patch) pic.twitter.com/NL2eoRzHxk

ADeltaX note: Of course flashing the ffu will overwrite everything on your disk, so make a complete backup of your data before proceeding. *Don’t continue if you don’t know what to do in case something fails.
