For some of you, it might be useful to have an option to open up your file explorer and access a OneDrive overview directly, instead of going to the home-screen overview in File Explorer, as most of us are used to.
In the latest Windows 11 22H2 insider build released this week, you can find this newly implemented option. It allows you to go directly to OneDrive when opening up the Windows 11 File Explorer.
There is one condition, OneDrive must be installed and connected. If you don’t have OneDrive installed on your system, the new option is not available.
If you like to give it a go and find out if this is useful for you, you can do so by going to options in your File Explorer taskbar on top, and make settings like in the pictures shown below.
Something to keep in mind, this option may have been removed in the final build. This is still an insider build, so changes may still occur.
